tea creator since three generations.

In 1925, two brothers and great tea lovers, Robert and Pierre Dammann, created the commercial enterprise known as Dammann Freres. Actually, a Sir named Dammann was mentioned for the first time in 1692. By royal order, he was conceded to the exclusive privilege "to sell, let sell and debit, to the exclusion of all others, all coffees (…),tea, sherbet and chocolate.

Their know- how and the quality of their teas made of them the official supplier of the Compagnie Générale Transatlantique (the celebrated and prestigious French Line).

After the World War II, the history of Dammann Frères took a different turn in the person of Jean Jumeau-Lafond. Indeed, this great tea lover wanted to share his passion with the French public, having still been quite oblivious in this matter.

We owe him especially exceptionnal creations as the famous Russian blend “Goût Russe Douchka”, the Christmas Tea as well as the Apple tea, which received a triumphal acceptance in Japan.
Today, Dammann Frères perpetuates this know- how in selecting, importing, tasting and creating new flavours.

Originated in Ceylon, Darjeeling or Assam, Japan or China, black, green or white, each tea is a story which Damman Frères proposes you to discover in his online shop. There, you will also find our fruit infusions (“ la Fontaine aux Fruits”) as well as our herbal teas (“L’Herboristerie d’Orgeval”).
